Scope
This policy describes how the current Pep Tracker app handles information, and how Justin Thompson handles support correspondence and exported beta feedback. Pep Tracker is a personal recordkeeping and educational reference app. It does not require an account and does not operate an app-server upload or cloud-sync service.
Information kept on your device
You choose what to enter. The local database can contain personal compounds and protocols, planned stages and schedules, actual dose logs, preparation details, inventory adjustments, measurements, lab results, outcome plans, goals, check-ins and notes. Library favorites and app preferences also stay locally. These records support the app's history, calculations, reminders, charts and comparisons.
The optional profile can contain date of birth, the sex coefficient selected for a nutrition formula, height, activity level, goals and display units. Profile information is stored in a protected local file excluded from automatic backup. The profile does not ask for a sign-in or first/last name. Nutrition estimates use the inputs you provide; age and formula sex are not inferred from Apple Health.
The app has no integrated advertising, third-party analytics/crash SDK or cross-app tracking implementation. It does not sell your app records or automatically send them to Justin Thompson. Research Assistant currently prepares a local preview; no AI provider is connected.
Optional Apple Health access
You choose which supported data types to request. These include body mass, body fat, lean body mass, height, resting and latest heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, steps, active energy and sleep. Readable samples can include dates, source information and sample identifiers.
Apple Health access is read-only. Pep Tracker does not write Health records. Selected readings and histories are held in memory for supported displays and comparisons; they are not automatically saved as manual Progress entries. The requested-type preference is retained so the app can resume selected reading. Refresh can occur on request, when the app returns to the foreground and after observed body-metric changes while it is running. Background Health delivery and clinical-record integration are not implemented.
Stop Reading in Pep Tracker stops the app's read opt-in and clears its cached readings and requested-type preference. It does not revoke Apple's system permission or delete Health samples. Manage the system grant in Apple Health's app-access settings.
The current app does not use Health data for advertising, marketing, sale, tracking or external data mining. It has no app-operated Health upload or CloudKit sync and does not enroll people in human-subject research.
Labs, photos and camera
Lab PDF/image extraction runs locally using Apple's PDF and text-recognition frameworks. Import rows initially remain excluded. Only results you explicitly include, review and confirm are saved, together with their reviewed source snippets. The import implementation does not retain the original report/image. Your original copy can remain in Files, Photos or the selected provider. Extraction can misread information; compare proposed results with the original before saving.
Progress Photos uses individual selections in the system photo picker or camera access when you choose Camera. A check-in can contain one to three selected angles, a date, notes and an optional outcome-plan link. Saved images are normalized JPEGs that preserve aspect ratio/orientation and remove location/EXIF metadata. Private images and their journal use iOS file protection and are excluded from automatic backup. They are not automatically uploaded or added to the public Photos library. Importing does not remove your original photo.
Notifications
Dose and weekly photo check-in reminders are optional local notifications. Notification permission is requested in context. Dose alerts use generic wording without the compound name or amount; the app's name and use may still be visible on the Lock Screen. No remote push service is implemented. You can manage notifications and previews in device Settings. A saved schedule can remain in the app even when notifications are denied.
When information may leave your device
Sharing and exports you choose. Export My Data prepares unencrypted JSON containing personal records, profile/preferences, favorites, schedules and photo metadata. Private photo bytes are optional. Live Apple Health readings/history are not included, though requested-type preferences may be. A file is shared when you choose a destination. Recipients and storage services control their copies. Opening a research reference or another external link uses the destination you select and its own data-handling practices.
Support and in-app feedback. Beta Feedback prepares your entered text/category plus app version, build and operating-system information for review and explicit system sharing. It does not automatically attach records, Health values or screenshots, and does not send automatically to a preconfigured recipient. If you email Justin Thompson or choose him as a recipient, he receives the information you send, which may include your email address, message, attachments and technical details. Avoid sending sensitive records, complete exports, lab reports or private photographs unless you deliberately intend to share them.
Support messages are used to respond to your request and, as relevant, investigate issues, maintain and secure the app, or meet compliance obligations. Access is limited to Justin Thompson and authorized contractors or service providers acting on his behalf strictly for support, development, maintenance, testing, security or compliance. This permission does not mean that an analytics service, cloud record processor or additional provider is currently integrated into the app.
Apple TestFlight. Apple may collect beta usage, crash, invitation and feedback information and make information available to the application provider. Feedback can include comments, screenshots and device information. Exported feedback under Justin Thompson's control is used for development, testing, support, security, release records or compliance. Access is limited to Justin Thompson and, only where Apple’s terms permit, authorized contractors or service providers involved in those activities. Apple-supplied TestFlight information will not be redistributed to third parties where Apple prohibits it; this policy does not grant permission for such sharing. Apple separately processes and retains TestFlight information under its own terms and policies. See Apple's TestFlight privacy information.
Other services you use. Your email provider, chosen sharing destinations, cloud document providers, Apple device services and externally opened websites have their own practices. Ordinary device backups may contain the local app database according to your settings; the app specifically excludes its private profile/photo folders and export cache from automatic backup. Pep Tracker does not provide app-operated CloudKit sync.
Retention and deletion
Local app information. Saved local records remain until removed through an available control or local app storage is removed. Complete or Archive retains protocol history; it is not deletion. The app has no account-deletion service or app-wide delete-all/reset control.
Available controls include deleting doses, measurements, lab results/draws, photo check-ins and supported outcome records. These actions remove the selected records, not all related historical facts or external copies. Deleting a photo check-in removes its private images; original Photos/Files copies and previously shared exports are separate. Image-cleanup errors are surfaced. Optional profile fields can be edited or cleared where the editor permits.
Support emails. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months after the last support interaction. It may be retained longer only when reasonably necessary to resolve an ongoing issue, comply with law or preserve records needed for a dispute.
Exported TestFlight feedback. Copies under Justin Thompson's control are retained for up to 24 months after the related beta/testing activity. Longer retention is permitted only when reasonably necessary to investigate a defect, maintain release records, comply with law or resolve a dispute. Apple's independent retention is governed by Apple.
Deletion requests. Email johndoe38@hotmail.com to request deletion of personal information under Justin Thompson's control. He will delete information that is no longer reasonably required. Some records may be retained when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or recordkeeping. Sufficient information may be needed to identify the relevant correspondence or records and handle the request appropriately. This policy does not promise an exact backup-deletion timeline.
Justin Thompson cannot remotely inspect or delete local-only app information that was never sent to him. You control that information on your device. Copies already shared with another recipient or stored in a platform backup must be managed separately.
Prepared export files remain in protected, backup-excluded cache until replaced or removed by iOS; a later export replaces earlier cached JSON files. Shared copies cannot be recalled. Deleting the app can remove local records and private photos. Avoid uninstalling as routine troubleshooting: Preview an Export is preview-only, and does not restore, erase or activate records. Portable export is not yet a verified restore/merge backup.
Permissions, younger users and policy updates
Apple Health, notifications and camera access are optional and can be managed using the relevant app controls and device Settings. The educational acknowledgement does not grant those permissions or constitute research consent.
The app contains health and experimental-compound reference material. Review the applicable store age information and use appropriate professional guidance. The current app does not implement global age verification or a parental-consent flow. Do not send children's sensitive records in support requests or beta feedback.
Changes to this policy will be reflected in its published text and last-updated date. Before changing app behavior or introducing a new receiving service, its disclosures and applicable permissions must be updated. The app does not currently keep a separate acceptance receipt for this policy.

This website
This policy also covers the Privacy and Support website at peptrackerhealth.app, operated by Justin Thompson. The website provides information and links to email; it has no sign-in, contact form or endpoint for uploading your app records.
When these pages are delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare processes connection and request information, which may include your IP address and traffic-routing information, to provide its hosting and security services. This is separate from local-only data inside Pep Tracker. Viewing these pages does not send your app database, Health readings or private photos to Justin Thompson or Cloudflare.
The static pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or browser storage code. Hosting and security services can process request information independently of page scripts. Cloudflare describes its processing in its Privacy Policy; this policy does not promise a particular deletion timeline for Cloudflare's records.
Contact johndoe38@hotmail.com for website privacy questions or deletion requests concerning information under Justin Thompson's control. Support and exported beta-feedback retention periods above do not describe Cloudflare's own retention. No additional app cloud-sync or app-record receiving service is introduced by this website.
